Big loss today for SPANISH FOOTBALL - SOCCER.
It had to come, like other greats before him, REAL MADRID now ex Captain & Legend RAUL GONZALEZ BLANCO said goodbye to his Club of 16 years. The Spanish player gave a press conference to a packed audience to announce his departure, his move to another country & Club to finish off his last remaining years as a professional Football player. All speculation points that Raul will join German Club SCHALKE 04, the Club will be formally announced tomorrow if all rumours are correct.
The Spanish player thanked everyone during his stay at Real Madrid & even mentioned that current Coach José Mourinho counted with his experience this season, but that he wished to play a more active role & have playing minutes as he believes he has lots of more Football still left in his body & mind.
